ALLEY OOP HOOP SKILLS (Ages 5-7 and 8-12)
Be introduced to the game of basketball or sharpen up your skills. The skills class focuses on the four keys to basketball: communication, awareness, timing and spacing. Classes are for beginner and advanced players. We encourage boys and girls of all abilities to explore their potential and have fun with Alley Oop/Hoopstarz!
ALLEY OOP PARENT & CHILD (Ages 3-4)
These classes provide an introduction to the game of basketball in a fun environment, stimulating interest and a love for the game. We use Tiny Tyke Hoops and age appropriate basketballs. Fundamental skills include: body coordination (jumping, skipping), catching/passing, dribbling, shooting and defense.
ALLEY OOP HOOPGIRLZ (Ages 5-7 and 8-12)
This class is a beginner-friendly basketball class for girls. In our years of coaching experience, we have found that girls learn differently than boys and often times aren’t willing to ask questions if they are outnumbered in a co-ed class. This class provides girls an open arena to experiment without judgment, to learn through mistakes, and receive relentless encouragement from the coach and their peers.
